Dear Liquid Gaviscon

Dear Liquid Gaviscon,

you’ve become my best friend ever in the past few months and I couldn’t imagine going through the last months without you. Between you and me, it seems to be a love-hate relationship though. While I love dearly, that you help my heartburn issue in seconds and long-lasting … you’ve never let me down with that … I wished you wouldn’t taste like melted liquid peppermint gum.

The thought of swallowing you, makes my stomach turn upside down or inside out. I take a sip, it takes me a while to convince my body that it has to swallow you, and afterwards I’m hoping it’ll stay it (gag reflex) and I try to forget about what I’ve just swallowed.

Yesterday I bought liquid yogurt (not gonna name any names, in respect of you), and it tasted great. It had the same consistence like you, but it was strawberry/banana and therefore was much easier to swallow than liquidated peppermint gum.

Maybe you have a friend in some aisle that has a better flavor to offer. I only know about your tablet friends with better flavor, but even online I can only see the liquid peppermint style of you. I gotta just keep looking I guess… but anyhow… I just wanted to say thank you and sorry for complaining, but I had to get this off my chest.
