Head To Toe, Favorite Products

As I get asked a lot… “what hair dye do you use?” or “what mascara to you like most?”, I’d like to share with you my most favorite products, head to toe – today! My skin type is very dry and slightly sensitive, in case you want to try out the products I like.

Most Favorite Hair Products: I loooove all products from Moroccanoil! The smell is amazing (I’m a nose person – the smell of a product is a big deal for me) and it leaves my hair silky smooth and healthy looking! I’ve tried many many other hair products, but never found anything that could compete with Moroccanoil. I’m using the shampoo and conditioner, I’m using the treatment oil, every now and then I’m using the restorative hair mask and I’ve been using the hairspray as well.

If I don’t use the Moroccanoil hairspray, I like to use TRESemmè. It’s super fine mist and not too sticky. To me, it’s the best between many.

I sometimes love to do the back head back combing style and for a long hold I used to use Osis dust it powder … it is good, but I think you can get the same effect with plain ol baby powder. So I will try that once my dust it powder runs out.

Most Favorite Facial Products and Make Up: Pond’s cold cream is my favorite face lotion at the moment. Again… the smell is lovely! It is very silky and spreads on very nicely and just feels good overall.

In the make up department, CoverGirl definitely makes the run in this race!

I usually don’t use a lot of make up and very seldom foundation, but if I do, I found that Covergirl Natureluxe works the best for me. I mix a teeny tiny drop of the foundation with some pond’s cold cream and mix it well and voila… there is your toned face cream… It will look very natural on your skin and not look like a layer of clogging foundation. The Covergirl fresh complexion eye concealer works best for me to erase dark under eye circles of tired mommies. ;)

My eyelashes are a medium brown I would say, so I HAVE TO use mascara to not look overtired or sick. I put mascara on about EVERY SINGLE FREAKIN DAY, so people don’t always ask me if I’m not feeling well. I have tried many many many maaaany brands and different kinds … and I always come back to one that I call the best of the best. Covergirl (of course covergirl) lashblast volume. The big, fat, orange one.

I also like to use blush and bronzer, but I have yet to find the favorite one. I’m still trying and I still don’t like any I’ve tried so far. I will buy a cream blush next, I think.

For my lips I just use lip balm… whatever brand and whatever kind… I really don’t care about that, as long as they don’t stain … I do not like the ones with color.

My Favorite Body Products: Lets start with my favorite shower gel, which are either Ivory (Lavender) or Olay Ribbons. After every shower, I will lotion myself with either Hempz (Cucumber & Jasmin) or Lubriderm Advanced Therapy Lotion. Lubriderm is also recommended by tattoo artists, for the care of a new tattoo, which I used for my tattoo healing too.

Fragrances I usually buy something different every time, because I love to smell different every now and then. But there has been and still is an all time favorite that I will always go back to … It’s called

Comme une Évidence and it is from Yves Rocher. It is pretty expensive, but so worth it…

I think that is it… I’m hoping I didn’t forget about anything, but all in all, that is all I’m using. :)

Edit:

My favorite hair dyes are either from Splat Rebellious Colors or Special Effects … as you might know… I LOVE strong, vibrant colors in my hair and those two have been the most vibrant, beautiful and long lasting hair dyes that I could find. I’ve been dying my hair since I was … I dunno … maybe 16?! … I’m 30 now, so you can imagine that I probably have tried a bazillion different boxed hair dyes as well as hair dresser dyes. The problem with the hair dresser dyes is that they don’t last nearly as long as the ones I named above. So if you want long lasting crazy hair color, check them out!

My favorite antiperspirant stick would probably be the Lady Speed Stick (Invisible).
